With a 5D porn cinema recently opened in Amsterdam, is it
actually better than its 3D predecessor?

Famous for its liberal cannabis laws, Amsterdam has yet
found another way to turn your fantasies into reality – well, sort of. Said to
indulge all the five senses of the human body, the newfangled 5D Porn Cinema
recently debuted in the Dutch capital’s world-famous Red Light District. Aside
from a 3D screen, the racy theater will feature bouncing chairs and water
cannons to give moviegoers the most sexually arousing experience ever, because
apparently, nothing turns people on more than watching porn with complete
strangers. Or it might turn out to be the ultimate Rocky Horror Picture Show
audience participation ever.
5D Porn’s owner, Natalie, says the experience is similar to
a ride at an amusement park. The theater can seat 18 customers per viewing. In spite
of the stigma surrounding her venture, Natalie insists that the cinema is
actually a good place for couples to visit and experiment on. Given that the
format is still at its “infancy” so to speak only time will tell if 5D is
actually better than 3D.
